Following our update last month we have continued to chase the expected emails from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport so that we can all formally sign up to the FIBRE TO THE PROPERTY (FTTP) scheme. As we have previously mentioned, the volume of applications for the scheme has slowed everything up but we have been advised that we should all receive these emails by the end of next month at the latest.
We are also aware that AirBand have been forwarding leaflets to many of us in the village. Despite their leaflet stating that they “are working closely with the communities” including ours this is NOT the case. We have our own separate scheme through Openreach so please ignore their mailing.
