Unfortunately more scams are being reported as criminals try to take advantage of the Coronavirus emergency and current lockdown.
People are receiving texts purporting to be from the NHS saying that they are eligible for a Coronavirus vaccination, and asking for personal details including credit cards. As we all know, the vaccine is free and the NHS would never ask for payment details to arrange an appointment.
A similar scam is also being operated via telephone calls.
Please be on your guard at all times and don’t let the scammers win.
