FLADBURY PARISH COUNCIL
The Parish Council was advised yesterday (Thursday) that a planning application has been submitted to Wychavon District Council by Lonestar Land. The application relates to land fronting on to Broadway Lane and adjacent to and immediately south of Llewellyn Close.
The application is for 34 affordable homes consisting of the following:-
8 x I bedroom flats
9 x 2 bedroom houses
11 x 3 bedroom houses
4 x 1 bedroom bungalows
2 x 2 bedroom bungalows
The full details of the application and all the associated documents can be found on the Wychavon website with the planning reference 21/02924/FUL.
The Parish Council is reviewing all the documents submitted with the application and has requested and has been granted an extension to the consultation period to January 31st. This will enable us to carry out any research relating to all the aspects of this application.
In addition, we plan to consult the village on this application but as a public meeting in the Village Hall may not be possible early in January due to the pandemic, we may have to conduct this consultation through a Zoom public meeting conference – we will keep you informed.

WHAT ELSE?
· Christmas lights are twinkling throughout the village – including in The Chantry and down Broadway Lane
· Have you run out of Christmas cards? Boxes of new cards are in my porch at 6 Woodward Parks – going cheap! Or we can split the boxes. Please ring me on 860531 if you want some.
· I am house hunting again – with some boxes packed and plans made, the vendors withdrew the property I was buying just before ”completion” – so please be in touch if you know of anything in Fladbury which may be for sale.
AND….. KIT will appear again during the second week in January with a new editor, John Powell. Please email news, information or queries to fladburykit@gmail.com or phone John on 07776 063252. The deadline for the January KIT is Wednesday 5 January with the hope of circulation by Saturday 9 January.
And here’s hoping for a Happy Christmas for all, love Jane X 860531
