Severn Trent commenced work on Monday 27th February replacing 7.3km of old pipes on the A44 between Lower Moor and Evesham. The work will begin at Salters Lane and progressively move East along the A44 towards Greenhill. It is expected that the project will be completed by May of next year.
A temporary 30MPH speed limit will be imposed on traffic throughout the length of the roadworks, and traffic flow is currently controlled by temporary 2-way signals between Evesham golf club and Chadbury.
